A must-see at Fringe World Festival 2016 in Perth is Pickering Production's SKIN DEEP - a funny and wildly entertaining caberet about beauty...what it is and what we go through to get it.

 

Featuring a selection of songs ranging from pop hits to rock anthems to musical theatre standards, SKIN DEEP is a tongue-in-cheek peek into the nooks and crannies of the beauty industry.


You'll meet a middle-aged woman who is anxious about her overgrown undergrowth. A domineering mother scheming to make her daughter the standout of the school ball. There's a Hollywood starlet considering dramatic facial surgery, while a manic lesbian tries frantically to keep all her lovers in line.


Nominated for Best Cabaret at Fringe World 2015, SKIN DEEP returns to the Hellenic Club for six performances only on Feb 13, 14, 18, 19 and 21st.

Tickets are a very reasonable $25, and the cast members are all WAAPA graduates.

Doors open 6.20pm with the show getting underway at 7pm. Nibbles and good value drinks are available before the show.
