Early in 2015 when I was flying to Hoi An, Vietnam, I ran out of cleanser just before I left, so decided to purchase something duty free at the airport.
Scanning the shelves, the packaging of the Jurlique range caught my eye. It was simple, fresh and had, in my mind, a Japanese aesthetic.
The price point was also attractive.
I hadn't tried many of the Jurlique range previously though had been a fan of the Rosewater Balancing Mist for a number of years and was aware of the reputation of the high quality of ingredients in Jurlique products.
The Nourishing Cleansing Oil is a light and gentle cleanser and easily removes my makeup, including mascara*, leaving my skin soft, smooth and hydrated. It doesn't leave my normal/combination slightly dehydrated skin feeling tight or dry.
One or two pumps is all that's needed. Wet your hands and face and neck, warm the oil then massage over your skin before rinsing thoroughly.
Key ingredients include Castor, Sunflower, Blackcurrant, Sesame and Meadowfoam botanical seed oils.
* The instructions on the packaging and bottle suggest avoiding eye area, but sometimes at the end of a long day, one cleanser is all I can manage...
