Plenty of food, exciting music, shopping at the markets, and a Onesie Flash Mob.

Don't forget the Mount Hawthorn Streets and Lanes Festival will take place this Sunday 7 May 2017 from 11am to 7pm.

In partnership with Synergy and the City of Vincent, the festival will feature four live entertainment stages, three pop-up street bars, re-branded streets for the event, free samples, workshops, competitions, and family activities.

The Mount Hawthorn Streets and Lanes Festival will cover the majority of the Mount Hawthorn precinct. Starting from Coogee Street, there will be stalls and various venues providing free entertainment and activities for the whole family. It continues along Scarborough Beach Road up to Oxford Street then onto Axford Park and Hobart Street. In its colourful village-style fashion the festival will also move onto Flinders and Fairfield Streets, Anvil Lane and the Hawaiian's Mezz laneways. This year the Oxford Street North strip will also be included in the festival's area coverage.
