Perth has a lot to offer in order to celebrate our great state this WA Day. Bring your family along for a weekend of fun events to entertain everyone.

The SOTA Music Festival: June 6 12-9PM

The State Of The Art Music Festival celebrates the many great talents WA has to offer, with performances led by Jebediah, San Cisco, Ta-ku (Live) and Koi Child. This festival is now free and is suitable for the whole family to enjoy. Held at Elizabeth Quay, its amazing atmosphere within our great city is something you shouldn't miss. Find out more here

 

WA Day At The Bell Tower: June 6 10:00am to 3:30pm

This Western Australia Day, the Bell Tower is hosting a free open day to acknowledge the inhabitants of this land, as well as celebrating those who have made Australia their home after settling here. Find out more here.

 

Guided Historical Walking Tour: June 6 6:00am to 8:00pm

These tours will be taking place in Perth and Fremantle, where you can discover the different aspects of each amazing location.


The Perth tour commences from Town Hall, where you then head off on a journey off the evolving small bar scene, hidden gems within the city and the modern day secret nuggets of the Central Business District. You’ll get to know all about the history, architecture, culture and heritage of the city. Find out more here.

 

The Fremantle walking tour begins at the Fremantle Visitor Information Centre, before beginning a non-traditional route past landmarks such as the Fremantle Prison and Fishing Boat Harbour, through Art galleries like the Kidogot Art House, and finishing at the oldest building in Western Australia, The Roundhouse.

 

Fremantle Heritage Festival: 27 May- 6 June

The Fremantle Heritage Festival celebrates Fremantle's rich cultural heritage in many different ways, and there is something for everyone. From choral singing to rock shows and from old school motorcycles to fine red wine, people of all ages and interests can come down and experience the many stories Fremantle holds. 

 

The Perth International Jazz Festival:  3 June- 5 June 

This festival is presenting over 50 jazz performances in numerous locations across Perth, with a range of free and ticketed community events. This festival offers something for everyone, with performances from local, national and international artists. Find out more here.
